Live Betting

Live betting is easy to access and very straightforward to use. The in-event sports available are all laid out in a single view known as ‘highlights’. This enables you to quickly scan down through all live events across all sports. This is probably the best view for quieter times of day, but you are most definitely going to want to switch to a single sport on game day, otherwise, you might find your event is buried deep down the listings.

Events that are in play have a red ‘live’ badge in the lower left corner, which sits alongside the game clock, a very handy feature I find. Near real-time updates allow for the odds to fluctuate rapidly. If the odds change, two visual indicators make sure it is brought to your attention.

A green upwards pointing arrow and green box outline means the odds have lengthened, meaning your potential winnings have just gone up as the outcome has become less likely.

A red downwards pointing arrow and accompanying red outlined odds box tell you that the odds have just shortened, becoming more likely, and as you would expect, your potential winnings also just took a hit.

The media player gives you immediate access to near real-time game stats, including a multitude of in-game events that can also be bet upon.

Personally speaking, I love in-game or live betting more than any other bet type. If you love sport and have even a basic knowledge of the event you are planning to bet on – then you will find that a short time after the game begins, you will have a much better feel for the betting potential. The weather – the crowd, the referee. Have both or just one team turned up, metaphorically speaking. Perhaps you get an early inkling that the game could be feistier than usual due to a particularly fruity tackle in the opening salvo.

My success levels are many percent’s higher when I wait for the game to start before betting, especially when betting against the favorite.

If you are betting on certain qualifying games live then another great feature available to you is Cash Out, where you can accept a lower offer than what a winning bet would return, but allows you to take the money and run at any point during the game.
